Tips to calm the mind of artists

Creating art can be calming but the process of creating can be stuffed with stress and tension for professional artists because we work against deadlines and our own standards. Many of us may be unable to let go of the creative process or get out of our own heads. And particularly for most of us the tension is physical — hunted over potter's wheels and tables, standing in front of our easel for hours with tensed shoulders and jaws. Your Identity

Your identity might vary from person to person. The girl next door might call you a punk, your high school teacher might call you a psychopath and your relatives might call you a sociopath. I remember drawing a little girl by a lake, I remember drawing horses, I remeber drawing Tinkerbell after reading Peter Pan. And for college I went to a businese school so I sort of deviated from my dream job of being an artist. After college, I started working as an assistant accountant, I didn't like my job role hence I had to face alot of pressure. I tried meditation, it didn't work, I tried going to a gym it didn't work and atlast I sat down and drew what I was going through. After drawing the above image I felt like all of my stress just disappeared. At that moment I felt like I was born again. I was able to express my emotions through my art.  It was then I heard about Mandala art. Everyday after work I started drawing my day in the form on Mandal...
